Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Crush the Maria biscuits in a bowl until they form fine crumbs.
- Combine the crushed biscuits with the melted butter and mix well.
- Press the biscuit mixture into the bottom of a mold to form the crust.
Cheesecake Filling
- In another bowl, cream the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Add the heavy cream and blend until combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the filling over the crust in the mold.
Baking
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is almost set.
- Let the cheesecake cool in the pan before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
Serving
- Slice the cheesecake into wedges and serve each with a soft Sobao.
- Garnish with powdered sugar or fruit compote if desired.
Notes
For a smoother texture, allow cream cheese to reach room temperature before use. Don't rush the chilling process for the best results.
