Ingredients
  

For the stuffed strawberries
  • 24 large large strawberries Ripe and firm strawberries for best flavor.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Let it sit at room temperature to soften.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar For sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream Adds a tangy flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor.
Optional toppings
  • Graham cracker crumbs For topping, adds crunch.
  • Mini chocolate chips For topping, adds sweetness.
  • Lemon zest Optional for added flavor.
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg Optional for a warm spice flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry the strawberries. Cut a small flat section off the leaf side of each strawberry.
  2. Slice each berry into six points, cutting about 3/4 of the way down but leaving the base intact.
Cream Cheese Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and beat it on high speed until smooth.
  2. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract, continuing to blend until creamy.
Assembly
  1. Fill an icing bag fitted with a star tip (or a Ziploc bag with the corner cut off) with the cream cheese mixture.
  2. Pipe generously into each strawberry.
  3. Serve immediately to enjoy their perfect creaminess.
Optional Serving Suggestions
  1. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top for added texture.

Notes

For best results, use fresh strawberries and serve immediately after filling. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or frozen for a refreshing treat later.
