Turkey and Seasoning
  • 1 piece turkey breast
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For seasoning the turkey
Cranberry Orange Glaze
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries Use fresh for best results
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Adjust for sweetness preference
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust for sweetness preference
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the turkey breast with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, brown sugar, honey, and orange zest. Cook until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
Cooking
  1. Pour the glaze over the turkey breast in a baking dish.
  2. Roast the turkey for about 60-75 minutes, basting occasionally with the glaze, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Let it rest before slicing and serve with the remaining glaze.

Notes

Make sure to baste the turkey every 15-20 minutes while it’s roasting for maximum flavor. Use fresh cranberries for the best results, but you can use canned cranberry sauce if you're in a pinch. If you want a sweeter glaze, you can add more brown sugar or honey to taste.
