Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract Can be substituted with almond or maple extract for a different flavor
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • to taste chopped pecans or orange zest Optional topping

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and cut each triangle in half. Press them into mini muffin cups.
  4. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each cup and add a dollop of cranberry sauce on top.
  5. If desired, sprinkle with chopped pecans or orange zest.
  6. Bake in the oven for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
