Ingredients
  

For the Slush
  • 2 cups Brewed Coffee, chilled Use a high-quality coffee for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Half and Half Can substitute with almond or coconut milk for a nutty twist.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Adjust to taste; flavored syrups can be used for variety.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a pot of your favorite drip coffee, then chill it in the fridge until icy cold.
  2. Pour 1.5 cups of chilled coffee into an ice cube tray and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours.
  3. Stash away remaining 1/2 cup of chilled coffee in the refrigerator.
Blending
  1. In a blender, combine half of the frozen coffee cubes, remaining chilled coffee, half and half, and sugar.
  2. Blend until well combined, then toss in the remaining coffee cubes and blend again until slushy.
  3. Pour into glasses or mason jars and garnish as desired.

Notes

If you have any slush leftovers, cover and store in the freezer. Re-blend before serving if it gets too firm.
