  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 4 large eggs beaten
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Crust
  • 1 unbaked pie crust store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine corn syrup and brown sugar, then pour in the melted butter and mix well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Gently fold in the pecans.
  6. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
  2. Let the pie cool before serving.

Notes
