Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Oil for frying For deep frying, use a neutral oil
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, Greek yogurt, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into little balls, about the size of a golf ball.
Frying
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fry the dough balls in batches until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
  3. Remove the donut holes from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
Coating
  1. In a separate bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  2. While still warm, roll the donut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy every delightful bite!

Notes

Best served warm, pair with coffee or hot chocolate. Extra cinnamon sugar can be sprinkled just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a day or refrigerate for up to three days.
