Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (around 163°C). Crumble the Oreo cookies into a fine powder and mix in the melted butter.
  2. Press this cookie mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract, then whip together until fluffy.
  5. Mix in the cocoa powder and red food coloring until combined.
  6. Pour the red velvet mixture onto your crust, smoothing it out evenly.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 60 minutes. Let it cool completely and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Serving
  1. Top with whipped cream, Christmas sprinkles, and mini Oreos for a festive presentation.

For an ultra-smooth finish, ensure all cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. Consider adding flavors like peppermint crunch or cinnamon for variety.
