  • 12 pieces Fresh strawberries The juicier, the better
  • 8 ounces Chocolate Dark or milk based on preference
  • 1 cup Candy corn For colorful turkey tails
  • 12 pieces Pretzel sticks For crunchy turkey legs
  • 1 cup White candy melts or icing For the eyes
  • 24 pieces Mini chocolate chips For the eyes of the turkeys

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grab a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, and melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals until silky and smooth.
  2. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place them on a parchment-lined tray to set.
  3. Stick candy corn into the back of the strawberries to create turkey tails.
  4. Insert pretzel sticks at the base of the strawberries to serve as turkey legs.
  5. Melt white candy melts or icing and place them on the strawberries, adding mini chocolate chips on top for the eyes.
  6. Allow the chocolate strawberries to set completely before serving.

Notes

These treats are best served fresh. If storing, keep in an airtight container in the fridge but consume within a day for optimal taste.
