Ingredients
  

For the clusters
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup caramel candies Optionally add butter for creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter Optional, adds creaminess to caramel
  • to taste sea salt Optional, enhances flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast them for about 5–7 minutes, until golden and fragrant.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramel candies, adding the butter if desired. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Assembly
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and form clusters with the toasted pecans.
  2. Drizzle the melted caramel over the clusters, allowing it to coat each pecan. Optionally sprinkle sea salt on top.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, these clusters can be packaged as gifts or served with coffee or milk. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for a firmer texture. Allow them to come to room temperature before serving.
