  • 1 cup chocolate milk Use your favorite brand of chocolate milk.
  • 2 packets hot chocolate mix Can be substituted with homemade hot chocolate mix for a richer flavor.
  • 1.5 cups crushed ice Adjust the amount based on desired thickness.
Toppings
  • to taste whipped topping Use homemade or store-bought.
  • to taste miniature chocolate chips Sprinkle for added sweetness and texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chill two glasses in the freezer for at least five minutes.
  2. Pour the chocolate milk into a blender followed by the hot chocolate mix and crushed ice.
  3. Blend until the mixture is velvety smooth.
  4. Pour the milkshake into the chilled glasses.
  5. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with miniature chocolate chips.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute chocolate milk with almond or coconut milk. To make it vegan, use dairy-free chocolate milk and hot chocolate mix.
