Ingredients
  

Bite Mixture
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate wafer cookies or graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread Use high-quality for best flavor.
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened Soften at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Coating and Topping
  • 8 ounces milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips Use dark chocolate for a richer treat.
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil Optional, for smoother coating.
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped toasted hazelnuts Optional, for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix crushed cookies, chocolate hazelnut spread, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until a thick dough forms.
  3. Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until firm.
Coating
  1. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip each chilled bite into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then return to parchment paper.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts before the chocolate sets.
  4. Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until the coating is fully set.

Notes

Store bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. These bites can also be frozen and enjoyed slightly chilled for a firmer, truffle-like texture.
