Preparation
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Stir well until everything melds.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate and instant coffee until melted and well combined.
Assembly
- Layer the biscuits at the bottom of a container.
- Pour a layer of the thick chocolate coffee mixture over the biscuits and repeat until ingredients are used up.
- Top with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
Chilling
- Refrigerate for a few hours before serving to allow flavors to mingle.
Serving
- Slice into squares or scoop into dessert cups and serve.
Notes
Store in the fridge, covered with plastic wrap, for 3-4 days. Consider using flavored biscuits or adding vanilla/cinnamon for a twist.
