Ingredients
  

For the Chocolate Coffee Mixture
  • 1 liter milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 50 grams chocolate Use your favorite chocolate type.
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
For the Assembly
  • 125 grams whipped cream Fluffy and light.
  • 250 grams biscuits Choose classic tea biscuits or chocolate cookies.
  • Grated chocolate for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Stir well until everything melds.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate and instant coffee until melted and well combined.
Assembly
  1. Layer the biscuits at the bottom of a container.
  2. Pour a layer of the thick chocolate coffee mixture over the biscuits and repeat until ingredients are used up.
  3. Top with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving to allow flavors to mingle.
Serving
  1. Slice into squares or scoop into dessert cups and serve.

Notes

Store in the fridge, covered with plastic wrap, for 3-4 days. Consider using flavored biscuits or adding vanilla/cinnamon for a twist.
