Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180C (350F) and grease donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Pipe the batter into the donut pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden.
Notes
For serving, dust with powdered sugar or dip the tops in melted chocolate ganache. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days, refrigerate for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat to retain texture.
