Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Allow to reach room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup, cold
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping Use a cool whip or homemade.
For the Strawberries
  • 2 pints strawberries, tops off and hulled/cored Choose firm, ripe strawberries.
Optional Garnishes
  • mini chocolate chips For topping.
  • chocolate sprinkles For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the strawberries gently and remove the tops to hollow them out.
  2. Hollow out each strawberry while ensuring they maintain their shape.
  3. Slice a small portion from the bottom of each berry to create a flat base.
Filling
  1. In a mixer, combine cream cheese, chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and airy.
Assembly
  1. Transfer the filling into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  2. Pipe the rich mixture into each hollowed strawberry.
  3. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips or chocolate sprinkles on top, as desired.

Notes

Best enjoyed the same day; however, they can be made a day ahead and held in the refrigerator.
