  • 2 cups cold milk You can use dairy-free milk if preferred.
  • 2 ripe bananas sliced Use ripe but firm bananas for best texture.
  • 1 cup whipped topping Can be substituted with Greek yogurt for tang.

Preparation
  1. Whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Allow the mixture to sit for a couple of minutes to thicken.
  3. Slice the bananas into even, round pieces.
  4. Gently fold the whipped topping into the chocolate pudding mixture, preserving the fluffiness.
  5. Add the sliced bananas and gently fold to distribute evenly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best texture, consume within a day, as bananas browning with time can soften the mixture. If keeping longer, add fresh banana slices at serving.
