Preparation of Dough
- Prepare the maple cinnamon cookie dough as per the recipe instructions.
- Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes to achieve the perfect chewy texture.
Baking Cookies
- Preheat your oven.
- Portion the dough into uniform sizes using a food scale, aiming for 1.5 oz dough balls.
- Place cookies on light-colored baking sheets and bake until golden, then let them cool before decorating.
Decorating Cookies
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, keeping the microwave at half power to avoid overheating.
- Dip half of each cooled cookie into the melted white chocolate and lay them down on wax or parchment paper to dry.
- Once set, drizzle more melted white chocolate over the dipped cookies using a piping bag or ziplock bag.
- Sprinkle holly berries on top of the drizzle before it sets.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for several days. For longer storage, freeze them individually or as a batch.
