  • 1.5 pounds ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 2 cups cooked white rice You can use leftover rice.
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.75 oz)
  • 0.5 cup milk Use whole milk for creaminess.
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef with cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

Notes

Serve with a side of green salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
