  • 1 piece pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Cheese and Shrimp
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen, properly thawed
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Garlic Oil Blend
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced The heart and soul of this dish
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning Can be substituted with dried oregano, basil, and thyme
  • to taste seasoning Salt and black pepper
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Roll out the pizza dough onto your baking surface, shaping it evenly like a good Southern pie crust.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Assembling the Pizza
  1. Brush the garlic oil blend generously over the dough.
  2. Layer on the mozzarella cheese, tender shrimp, and sprinkle the Parmesan for a golden delight.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the pizza for about 12 to 15 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top, slice while hot, and enjoy!

Notes

Pair with a fresh garden salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
