For the lobster filling
  • 1 large crusty bread loaf Sourdough or French loaf works well.
  • 1.5 cups cooked lobster meat, chopped Feel free to substitute with shrimp or crab if desired.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Add more for extra cheesiness!
  • 0.5 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds robust flavor.
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and freshness.
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted Enhances flavor and crispiness.
  • 1 tsp paprika For warmth and color.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the lobster meat, mozzarella, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed and creamy.
  2. Slice the bread loaf lengthwise, creating a cove for the filling. Hollow out the insides slightly and brush the inner walls with melted butter.
  3. Generously spoon the lobster mixture into the hollowed bread, packing it in tightly.
  4. Top with extra cheese and parsley for added flavor.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. For a crispy top, broil for the last few minutes, watching closely.
