  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar
  • 1 egg, beaten For binding the mixture.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For coating.
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted For brushing before baking.
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Preparation
  1. Mix together crab meat, cream cheese, beaten egg, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create a creamy filling.
  2. Fold in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese until well incorporated.
Shaping
  1. Form the mixture into small round balls using your hands.
  2. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
Baking
  1. Place the balls on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 18 to 22 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle the cooked bombs with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a hint of spice, try adding chopped green onions or hot sauce to the crab mixture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven for best results. You can also freeze the unbaked bombs for later use.
