Method
Preparation
- Mix together crab meat, cream cheese, beaten egg, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create a creamy filling.
- Fold in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese until well incorporated.
Shaping
- Form the mixture into small round balls using your hands.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
Baking
- Place the balls on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 18 to 22 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
- Sprinkle the cooked bombs with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a hint of spice, try adding chopped green onions or hot sauce to the crab mixture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven for best results. You can also freeze the unbaked bombs for later use.
