Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pans well.
- In a big bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, whole milk, eggs, melted butter, flour, and sugar until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pans and let the oven work its magic for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick slides out clean.
Creamy Filling
- In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, butter, and heavy cream until it’s silky smooth.
Caramel Topping
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add the sugar and heavy cream. Cook gently until it reaches a rich and amber caramel consistency.
Assembly
- Once the cakes are completely cooled, fill them generously with the creamy mixture and pour the warm caramel topping on top.
- Let it ooze down the sides before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, let the cake sit for a few hours or overnight before serving. If desired, sprinkle toasted coconut on top of the caramel.
