Ingredients
  

For the Cake
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup coconut milk Can substitute with regular milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar Can use brown sugar for added flavor
  • 1 tbsp butter For greasing the cake pan
For the Creamy Filling
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For filling
For the Caramel Topping
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, whole milk, eggs, melted butter, all-purpose flour, and sugar.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Preparing the Filling and Caramel
  1. In a saucepan, heat another can of sweetened condensed milk, butter, and heavy cream over medium heat, stirring until smooth and thickened.
  2. In a separate saucepan, combine sugar, heavy cream, and butter. Cook until the sugar dissolves and turns golden brown.
Assembly
  1. Once the cake has cooled, slice it in half horizontally and spread the creamy filling between the layers.
  2. Drizzle the warm caramel topping over the top of the cake before serving.

Notes

Serve at room temperature with coffee or sweet tea. For extra indulgence, add whipped cream or toasted coconut on top.
