Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 1 package refrigerated dough (like crescent roll or biscuit dough)
  • 2 cups apple pie filling
Topping and Flavorings
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For brushing the tops
  • 1/4 cup sugar To sprinkle on top
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Mix with sugar for topping
  • to taste Caramel sauce for drizzling Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the refrigerated dough and cut it into small squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling to create a ball and seal the edges.
  5. Brush the tops of the dough balls with melted butter.
  6. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the dough balls.
  7. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Allow them to cool slightly, then drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a hot cup of chai. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or in the fridge for longer storage. Reheat before serving for the best taste.
