Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the refrigerated dough and cut it into small squares.
- Place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a ball and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops of the dough balls with melted butter.
- In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the dough balls.
- Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow them to cool slightly, then drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a hot cup of chai. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or in the fridge for longer storage. Reheat before serving for the best taste.
