Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Crust
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Cheesecake Filling
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the finely chopped apples and cinnamon.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it gently with a knife.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set. Remove from oven and let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Serving
- Cut into bars, serve chilled, and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. For a crunchy texture, add chopped nuts with the apples. You can also use different flavored caramel sauces if desired.
