  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
Cheesecake Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for smooth blending.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup finely chopped apples Can use a variety of apples.
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce Use for drizzling.
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Or add nutmeg for a spiced twist.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Crust
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Cheesecake Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the finely chopped apples and cinnamon.
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  4. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it gently with a knife.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set. Remove from oven and let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Serving
  1. Cut into bars, serve chilled, and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. For a crunchy texture, add chopped nuts with the apples. You can also use different flavored caramel sauces if desired.
