- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar to make a simple syrup. Bring it to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the fresh cranberries into the syrup, and let them soak for about 10 minutes.
- Drain cranberries and spread them out on a baking sheet.
- Roll the cranberries in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Allow the cranberries to dry for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
These candied cranberries are great as a snack, in salads, or on cheese boards. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
