Toppings
  • to taste maple syrup
  • to taste icing
  • to taste whipped topping
  • to taste sprinkles Use colorful sprinkles for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Fire up your waffle iron and let it preheat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix and all the ingredients from the box.
  3. Grease the waffle iron if it's not non-stick.
  4. Scoop the batter onto the waffle iron and close the lid.
Cooking
  1. Cook the waffles for about 4-5 minutes, until light golden brown.
  2. Carefully remove the waffles and repeat the process until all batter is cooked.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, topped with maple syrup, icing, whipped cream, and sprinkles.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat in a toaster before serving.
