Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
Chocolate Topping
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips or chocolate bars

Method

Preparation
  1. Line a square or rectangular baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl until golden, then let cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and creamy peanut butter, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until thick, then fold in the graham cracker crumbs.
  5. Smooth the mixture into the baking dish and level it off.
Chocolate Cloak
  1. Melt the milk chocolate chips or chocolate bars in another bowl until silky.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter base, spreading it evenly.
  3. Refrigerate for a few hours until firm enough to slice.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, add crushed nuts. Unsweetened pretzels can replace graham crackers for a salty kick. Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate.
