Method
Prepare the Tea
- In a small bowl, combine the hot water and jasmine green tea. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the butterfly pea flowers to the steeping tea and let it sit until the colors blend, then strain and set aside.
Make the Blueberry Jam
- In a skillet, combine blueberries and white sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the blueberries pop and release juices, cooking until it thickens into a jam.
Mix the Milk Tea
- In a separate container, mix the milk and the prepared butterfly pea tea until well combined.
Assemble the Drink
- In a glass, layer the blueberry jam, followed by the boba pearls, and gently pour the blueberry-infused milk tea over the top.
Notes
Serve in tall glasses with straws. Add a slice of lemon or mint for extra flavor. Store in the fridge for up to a week and stir before serving.
