Ingredients
  

For the Blueberry Jam
  • 1 cup blueberries Use fresh blueberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup white sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
For the Milk Tea
  • 3/4 cup milk Can substitute with almond or oat milk for a vegan option.
  • 6-10 butterfly pea flowers For color; adjust based on preferred intensity.
  • 1 tbsp jasmine green tea Provides aromatic flavor.
  • 3/4 cup hot water Used for steeping tea.
  • 3 tbsp cooked brown sugar boba pearls Add chewy texture to the drink.

Method
 

Prepare the Tea
  1. In a small bowl, combine the hot water and jasmine green tea. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add the butterfly pea flowers to the steeping tea and let it sit until the colors blend, then strain and set aside.
Make the Blueberry Jam
  1. In a skillet, combine blueberries and white sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the blueberries pop and release juices, cooking until it thickens into a jam.
Mix the Milk Tea
  1. In a separate container, mix the milk and the prepared butterfly pea tea until well combined.
Assemble the Drink
  1. In a glass, layer the blueberry jam, followed by the boba pearls, and gently pour the blueberry-infused milk tea over the top.

Notes

Serve in tall glasses with straws. Add a slice of lemon or mint for extra flavor. Store in the fridge for up to a week and stir before serving.
