Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Lightly spray a 9×13 dish with nonstick spray.
- Mix the Devil's Food Chocolate cake batter as per the package instructions.
Baking
- Bake the cake according to package instructions.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool.
Assembly
- Poke holes all throughout the cake using the handle end of a wooden spoon.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake, then drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for a minimum of two hours.
- Remove the cake from the refrigerator and spread Cool Whip over the top.
- Sprinkle chopped Heath bars over the Cool Whip layer.
Notes
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. To enhance flavor, consider using homemade caramel sauce. For added texture, toast the Heath bars before chopping.
