  • 1/2 cup brewed chamomile tea, cooled
  • 1 large ripe banana Select the ripest banana for the sweetest result.
  • 1 tbsp honey Adjust sweetness to preference; consider using maple syrup.
  • 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative Choose your favorite milk alternative, like almond or coconut.
  • Ice cubes (optional) Add for a chilled sensation.
  • Dried chamomile leaves (optional) For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a delicate cup of chamomile tea and allow it to cool.
  2. In a blender, combine the cooled tea, peeled and sliced banana, honey, and milk.
  3. Add ice cubes if desired.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour into a glass and garnish with dried chamomile leaves or a slice of banana, if desired.

Notes

Store any remaining smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Stir or blend before enjoying.
