Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, maple syrup, oil, and vanilla extract.
  2. Grease the donut pan to ensure easy removal after baking.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  4. In the same bowl, whisk in the flour, baking powder, and salt until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold generously but not to the brim.
Baking
  1. Bake the donuts for about 8 minutes, or until they rise and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  2. Let them cool for a few minutes before gently removing them from the pan.

Notes

For added flair, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with a simple glaze. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for longer storage.
