Ingredients
  

Cinnamon Roll Base
  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing Use your favorite brand.
Cheesecake Filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Make sure it’s softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Apple Mixture
  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced Choose firm varieties like Honeycrisp or Fuji.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.
Topping
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce Warm slightly before drizzling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix sliced apples with granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  4. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters.
Layering
  1. Layer half of the cinnamon rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread half the cream cheese mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  3. Add half of the apple mixture on top.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining cinnamon rolls, cream cheese mixture, and apple mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown on top.
  2. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with an extra drizzle of caramel and a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of crème fraîche. For added texture, consider sprinkling nuts between layers or adding a streusel topping.
