  • 1 cup caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For added warmth and flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts Your choice, pecans or walnuts are great options.
  • 1 package crescent dough To wrap the apple halves.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Core and slice the apples in half.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend the caramel sauce and cinnamon together.
  4. Wrap each apple half in the crescent dough.
  5. Drizzle the remaining caramel over the wrapped apples.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, with extra caramel drizzle and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a few days. You can also freeze them wrapped tightly, just add a few minutes to baking time when baking from frozen.
