  • 1 teaspoon mint extract Use generously for a refreshing flavor.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Sifted for a smoother texture.
  • 1 container 8-ounce whipped topping Can use light or regular.
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips For a fun crunch.
  • 1/3 cup chopped Andes mints Plus more for topping.
  • to taste green food coloring Optional for color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and mint extract until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and beat on low until combined and smooth.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring for a festive touch.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping until fluffy and well mixed.
  5. Stir in the mini chocolate chips and chopped Andes mints, mixing until well combined.
  6. Scoop the dip into a serving bowl and top with additional chopped Andes mints.

Notes

For a creamier texture, let cream cheese sit at room temperature before mixing. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
