Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 whole whole turkey (10-12 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or sage) for stuffing

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub olive oil all over the turkey, then season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  4. If desired, place fresh herbs inside the turkey cavity.
Cooking
  1. Place the turkey in the air fryer basket, breast side down, and cook for about 1 hour.
  2. Carefully flip the turkey over and cook for another 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving and serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check the thickest part of the thigh and breast for that perfect 165°F (74°C). Tuck the wings under if the air fryer basket is snug. For extra-crisp skin, increase heat to 400°F for the last 10 minutes. Consider different glazes for flavor variations.
