  • 1 bulb bulb of garlic Use a firm, fresh bulb for the sweetest result.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt Do not over-salt before roasting.
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the top off the garlic bulb to expose the cloves.
  3. Drizzle the exposed garlic with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Wrap the garlic bulb in aluminum foil.
Cooking
  1. Place the foil-wrapped garlic in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cloves are tender and golden brown.
Final Steps
  1. Allow to cool, then squeeze the roasted garlic out of the skins and use as desired.

Notes

For storage, refrigerate roasted garlic cloves in a sealed container for up to one week. Submerge in olive oil for longer preservation. For freezing, place squeezed cloves in an ice cube tray.
