Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the top off the garlic bulb to expose the cloves.
- Drizzle the exposed garlic with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Wrap the garlic bulb in aluminum foil.
Cooking
- Place the foil-wrapped garlic in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cloves are tender and golden brown.
Final Steps
- Allow to cool, then squeeze the roasted garlic out of the skins and use as desired.
Notes
For storage, refrigerate roasted garlic cloves in a sealed container for up to one week. Submerge in olive oil for longer preservation. For freezing, place squeezed cloves in an ice cube tray.
