Preparation
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and unsalted butter together in the microwave or over a double boiler. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and frothy.
- Gradually stir in the melted chocolate and butter mixture into the egg mixture, followed by the all-purpose flour and pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
- Grease two small ramekins and divide the batter evenly between them.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the ramekins inside the basket and cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Allow cakes to cool for a few minutes, then invert onto a serving plate. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. Rewarm gently in the air fryer at 300°F (150°C).
