Ingredients
  

For the cookies
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed walnuts (optional) Can be substituted with pecans or omitted
  • to taste powdered sugar for dusting (optional) Dust just before serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts if using.
Cooking
  1. Scoop the batter into small balls and place them in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
  2. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the cookies are set and slightly gooey in the center.
  3. Let them cool in the basket for a few minutes before removing.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Add a slice of bread to keep them soft. For longer storage, freeze cooled cookies in a single layer for 1 hour, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 2 months; thaw at room temperature. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket for best results.
