Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cherry pie filling.
- Brush one side of a tortilla with melted butter.
- Place 2 tablespoons of cherry filling in a line along the center of the tortilla and roll tightly.
- Seal the edges with a little water if needed.
- Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas.
- In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Brush the taquitos with butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.
Cooking
- Place taquitos in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden.
Serving
- Allow taquitos to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage. For the best texture, re-crisp in the air fryer before serving.
