Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix the diced apple pie filling with 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and 1 tsp apple pie spice. Set aside.
- Separate each biscuit and gently flatten into a 4-inch round with fingers or a rolling pin.
Filling and Sealing
- Place about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of the apple filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold the dough over, pinch the seams together, and roll gently into a smooth ball.
Coating
- In a shallow dish, combine the granulated sugar, remaining 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, and 2 tsp apple pie spice.
- Stir until evenly mixed and keep the melted butter ready for brushing.
Air Frying
- Lightly brush each sealed biscuit ball with melted butter.
- Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
Finishing Touches
- Brush again with melted butter and roll each bomb in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or salted caramel. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
