Ingredients
  

For the Bombs
  • 1 can pillsbury grand biscuits (not flaky layers) 8-count
  • 1 cup apple pie filling, diced
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Coating
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon to mix with sugar
  • 2 tsp apple pie spice to mix with sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix the diced apple pie filling with 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and 1 tsp apple pie spice. Set aside.
  2. Separate each biscuit and gently flatten into a 4-inch round with fingers or a rolling pin.
Filling and Sealing
  1. Place about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of the apple filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  2. Fold the dough over, pinch the seams together, and roll gently into a smooth ball.
Coating
  1. In a shallow dish, combine the granulated sugar, remaining 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, and 2 tsp apple pie spice.
  2. Stir until evenly mixed and keep the melted butter ready for brushing.
Air Frying
  1. Lightly brush each sealed biscuit ball with melted butter.
  2. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
Finishing Touches
  1. Brush again with melted butter and roll each bomb in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  2. Let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or salted caramel. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
