Preparation and Baking
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13 baking pan by spraying with baker’s spray or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared pan.
- Layer the sweetened coconut, semi-sweet chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and roughly chopped pecans evenly over the crust.
- Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the entire pan, ensuring all layers are covered.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 28 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
For a firmer texture, refrigerate the bars. They can also be frozen for up to three months. If pressed down firmly, the graham cracker layer will hold better.
