Preparation
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and unsalted butter.
- Microwave on high for about 2 minutes, stir, then return to microwave for another 1 to 2 minutes until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, stirring until a thick, smooth mixture forms.
Setting
- Transfer the mixture to an 8x8-inch dish lined with parchment paper or lightly greased, and press in evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once set, slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, in the fridge for two weeks, or freeze for up to three months. Let thaw in the fridge overnight before serving.
