Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add in the flour, mixing until the dough forms.
- Scoop out small portions of dough and roll them into little balls.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- With a fork, gently press down on each ball to create a crisscross pattern.
Baking
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
These cookies can be served warm with tea or coffee and can be dusted with powdered sugar. Store them in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze the dough for later use.
