  • 1.25 cups Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread Can be substituted with other chocolate spreads.
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature Using room temperature eggs helps create a smoother batter.
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour Do not overmix after adding flour.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and lightly grease an 8x8 inch metal pan before lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Microwave the Nutella for 30 seconds until warm and runny.
  3. Stir in the two eggs until the mixture is smooth, well-combined, and slightly thickened.
  4. Fold in the flour until just combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top evenly.
  2. Bake for 16 to 20 minutes, or until the edges pull away from the pan and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
  2. Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream or powdered sugar.

Notes

Add a pinch of salt or a splash of vanilla extract for enhanced flavor. You can also toss in nuts or swirl in caramel or peanut butter for variations.
