Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13″ cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the spice cake mix, apple pie filling, and eggs until well blended.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
Frosting
- Whip together the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until fluffy.
- Gradually add in powdered sugar and milk until reaching desired spreading consistency.
- Spread frosting over the cooled cake and serve.
Notes
Serve warm, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
