  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Optional: hot sauce, diced tomatoes, or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Melt the cheese in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Gradually add milk or heavy cream while whisking until smooth.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and jalapeños.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos.

Notes

For a spicier version, add more jalapeños or a dash of cayenne pepper. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
