Description

Easy no-bake Buckeye Bars with a creamy peanut butter layer topped with rich chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons shortening or coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and graham cracker crumbs until well mixed. Press the mixture into a lined 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips and shortening (or coconut oil) in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly.
  4. Chill the pan in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is firm. Cut into squares and serve.
