- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 bag tater tots
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons dill relish
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and relish to create the Big Mac sauce.
- In a greased baking dish, spread the cooked ground beef evenly on the bottom.
- Pour the Big Mac sauce over the beef layer, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle additional cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of baking for a melty finish.
Notes
Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or sesame seeds if desired.
