Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 bag tater tots
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons dill relish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and relish to create the Big Mac sauce.
  3. In a greased baking dish, spread the cooked ground beef evenly on the bottom.
  4. Pour the Big Mac sauce over the beef layer, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Sprinkle additional cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of baking for a melty finish.

Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or sesame seeds if desired.
